Sylvette Lopez-Ruth Appointed Admissions Representative
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is pleased to announce that Sylvette Lopez-Ruth has been appointed as our new Admissions Representative based out of the Twin Cities, effective Oct. 24, 2016.
Sylvette earned her Master of Business Administration from American InterContinental University and her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Physical Education from MSUM. Over the past year Sylvette has worked as a Freshman Admissions Counselor at Winona State University in addition to serving as the Inclusion and Diversity Liaison. She brings a wealth of diverse professional experience in community outreach, diversity and inclusion, and higher education that includes roles as a Program Manager at Ohio State University, a Collections Manager at the National Center for Drug Free Sport, a Swimming Coach and Swim School Coordinator at MSUM, and a Bilingual Case Worker at Mount Carmel Community Outreach.
Sylvette will office at North Hennepin Community College in Brooklyn Park and work with prospective students from the western portion of the metro area as well as southern Minnesota. Please join us in welcoming Sylvette to MSUM!
