Participate in the 2016 Convocation
Please join MSUM’s Convocation this Friday, Aug. 19. This is the first opportunity to introduce and welcome incoming students into the Dragon Family.
The ceremony is in the fieldhouse in Nemzek Hall and begins with our campus community forming a tunnel to cheer and welcome new students to live music from MSUM’s Poco Fuego Steel Drum Quintet. Please arrive at 8:45 a.m. to be prepared for line up at 9 a.m. to ensure a great atmosphere for our students when they finish their class photo and process into the fieldhouse.
All campus community members are invited and encouraged to be part of the tunnel and sit together in the chairs facing the students. Members of the campus community who have earned advanced degrees are highly encouraged to wear their academic regalia.
