Greetings to our new and returning instructors! Instructional Technology (ITS) would like to share some important news as you focus this busy week on preparing your courses for the start of Fall semester.
A D2L Brightspace Shell for Every MSUM Course
We are pleased to announce that, as per new university policy (https://www.mnstate.edu/policies/courseonlinepresencepolicy.aspx), a course shell has been created on our learning platform—D2L Brightspace—for every MSUM course to house your syllabus and office hours. The intent of this new policy is to reduce confusion for students by having a consistent and reliable location for basic course information. Merging Course Sections
Some instructors choose to merge like sections into a single course shell on D2L Brightspace. Please contact Instructional Technology Services at support@mnstate.edu if you wish to merge course sections into a single course shell. Please keep in mind that you can only merge sections where you are listed as the Instructor of Record.
