Nawrot Attends Council on Undergraduate Research Business Meeting

Lisa Nawrot (Psychology) recently attended the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) business meeting in Tampa, Fla. Nawrot was elected to serve as a Councilor in the Psychology Division. 

CUR is a national organization of individual and institutional members representing over 900 colleges and universities. CUR and its affiliated colleges, universities, and individuals share a focus on providing undergraduate research opportunities for faculty and students at all institutions serving undergraduate students. CUR divisions include arts and humanities, biology, chemistry, education engineering, geosciences, health sciences, mathematics and computer science, physics and astronomy, psychology, and social sciences.

CUR hosts the annual National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) for students, sponsors Posters on the Hill, produces a Quarterly journal and targeted publications, and provides a number of professional development institutes and conferences for faculty and administrators. MSUM’s institutional membership in CUR allows any faculty member, staff or student to become a CUR member at no additional cost.
