Tri-College NEW Leadership Development Institute Awarded $5,000 Grant
The Tri-College NEW (National Education for Women’s) Leadership Development Institute, coordinated by Dr. Deborah White, Sociology, was recently awarded a $5,000 grant from the Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation Women’s Fund. The grant will be used to help fund the 2017 Institute.
The Tri-College NEW Leadership Development Institute provides leadership training, inspiration, and support for women who do not have extensive leadership experience. Each year approximately 40 women are selected to participate in the five-day program aimed at promoting public and community leadership among women of diverse backgrounds who reside in the Upper Midwest.
