D2L Brightspace Removal Process for Spring 2014 Courses Begins July 1
The next D2L Brightspace course removal process begins July 1, 2016. Spring 2014 (ISRS YRTR 20145) D2L Brightspace courses will be removed starting July 1, 2016. Note: Courses that are not assigned to an ISRS YRTR semester (developmental courses, ongoing courses) will not be removed.
Contact Instructional Technology (support@mnstate.edu) if you have questions or would like assistance in exporting course materials and grade books or backing up to a development course. As a best practice, it is advisable to export gradebooks and any other pertinent course materials or course data at the end of each semester.
Removal Schedule:
October 1, 2016 — removal begins on these semester courses: Summer 2014 (ISRS YRTR 20151)
February 1, 2017 — removal will begin on these semester courses: Fall 2014 (ISRS YRTR 20153)
This schedule is based on the recommendation of the former IMS Advisory Council to retain two years of courses. These are the approximate removal dates. If a date falls on a weekend, the course removal process will begin on the first business day following the removal date.
