MSUM student interns with Professional Baseball
As today marks the Opening Day of the 2016 Professional Baseball season – Junior Athletic Training major Shunichi Takitsu completed an Internship at the beginning of March with the Texas Rangers organization.
Shunichi took part in the collaborative effort between the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers’ Society (PBATS) and the Japanese Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (JBATS)to offer internships to Japanese students who are currently attending athletic training programs in the United States and Japan. Shunichi was in Surprise, Arizona where he spent ten days immersed in the medical side of baseball.
