Student Discounts offered for Fargo Marathon

For the second year in a row, the Fargo Marathon course will run through the MSUM campus. To encourage student runners, MSUM President Anne Blackhurst has already reimbursed the race registration fee for ten individuals. No more sponsorships will be offered. The Marathon is also offering student discounts of 15% off of registration for any of this year’s Fargo Marathon races by registering using the promo code DRAGON15.

The race will be run May 21 and runners are encouraged to register by March 31 at the Fargo Marathon website.

An organizing group is being formed to plan how the campus will celebrate runners as they travel the MSUM portion of the marathon.  That group is co-chaired by Shireen Alemadi and David Wahlberg. Faculty, staff, students and the community will be invited to watch the race from campus.
