Lockdown test to take place Monday, February 15
As part of MSUM’s commitment to safety and security, a lockdown test of all doors with card-access functionality will be performed on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. This is President’s Day so there aren’t any classes being held. There will not be any alarms or other disruptions so you will be able to continue all usual work activities and do not need to take any action.
During the test, all interior and exterior doors with card access functionality will be remotely locked and access cards/fobs will not work. If you are expecting a visitor during this time, please arrange to meet them so you can let them into your building.
e2Campus alerts will be sent at the start of the test and to announce its completion. The goal is to check all of these doors to ensure they function as planned in a lockdown situation. Testing is expected to be completed ahead of schedule and door functionality returned to normal earlier than 10:00 a.m.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to better prepare the campus in the event of a real emergency.
