The Economic Society is collecting used or unwanted phones
Have any used or unwanted phones you would care to donate? The Economic Society is collecting old phones and accessories for our service project in partnership with the Soroptimist International of Moorhead. We are taking any used cell phones and accessories (chargers, cases, etc.) for clients of the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center in Fargo-Moorhead. Any donated phones in working condition are reset to call 911 only. Phones which are not in working condition are welcomed as the parts will go toward purchasing additional phones.
Thank you to all who donated last year. We collected over 70 phones and many accessories and hope to collect even more this year! Donation boxes will be in the following locations: MA 380 (Econ, Law & Politics Dept.), CMU (close to US Bank ATM), Library (Front Desk), Center of Business (Main Lounge), BR 154 (Women’s Center), Lommen & FR 154 (Academic Support Center).
