By Danielle Rebel The opportunity of a lifetime was bestowed upon Kelsey Odegard, senior elementary inclusive major at MSUM. Odegard was selected as one of eight students nationwide to serve on the National Education Association (NEA) Advisory Committee of Student Members for the 2014-2015 academic year.
For more than 125 years, Minnesota State University Moorhead has impacted the lives of students, helping make our community, region and world a better place. The founders of MSU Moorhead believed in success, service and citizenship. Today these same values are embodied in the recipients of the Founders Scholarship, named in recognition of the founders of MSUM.

Julie teaches in the Ed Leadership graduate online program and serves as the program coordinator.
