Sarah Jegela Coordinates Regional UMACRAO Conference
Sarah Jegela, Associate Registrar in the MSUM Registrar’s Office, was chosen local arrangements chair for the UMACRAO 2015 Annual Regional Conference. The conference was held at the Courtyard Marriott, Moorhead MN November 4-6, 2015. The theme of this year’s conference was “Connect-Learn-Grow.”
The Upper Midwest Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (UMACRAO) is a non-profit, professional association focusing on issues of admissions, enrollment management, registration and other related issues of interest to members of the student services profession in higher education.
There were over 150 attendees at this year’s conference representing over 100 institutions of higher education from Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and northwestern Ontario.
“The conference was a huge success!” Heather Soleim, MSUM attendee said. “We had great attendance and the feedback concerning the location and program was all very positive. Our local institutions and communities should be proud!”
