Accessing Higher Ground Pre-Conference Labs

November 16 and 17 mark the beginning of the Accessing Higher Ground Virtual Conference with two days of pre-conference labs covering topics on ways to make your digital content accessible for all users.

On Monday, November 16th, Gaeir Dietrich from the High Tech Center Training Unit of the California Community Colleges, will present a lab on Working with Inaccessible PDFs.

On Tuesday, November 17th, Terrill Thompson from the University of Washington and Ken Petri from Ohio State University, will present a lab called All About Video.

The virtual sessions can be viewed in the Faculty Development Room (Library 125). Be sure to bring your laptop if you wish to follow along with the lab session. You may be required to install additional software to complete some activities.

IMPORTANT: You will need your Dragon card to enter the Faculty Development Center.

Break: 2:00 – 3:30 pm
Part 2: 3:30 – 6:00 pm

Tuesday, November 17: All About Video
Location: Library 125 (Faculty Development Center)
Part 1: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Break: 1:00 – 2:30 pm
Part 2: 2:30 – 5:30 pm

Pre-conference lab sessions will be recorded and available for personal viewing after the conference.
