Rock Climbing Classes Available at the Wellness Center
The Wellness Center is offering Belay Qualification classes to the campus and surrounding community. Upon passing the belay qualification skills test, individuals will be able to belay in our rock wall any time we’re open.
No prior climbing experience is required but we strongly suggest you climb with us a few times prior to signing up for the class.
Cost:
$20/registered students
$30/all non-students
Upcoming Class Dates:
Oct. 10th & 11th 1-3pm each day
Nov 21st &22nd 1-3pm each day.
What you will learn:
How to use climbing knots, belay devices, and safely assist a climber up and down the wall. You will also be with a qualified instructor for a two hour practical session.
