Astronomy Research
for MSUM Undergraduates

A short description of several of the research projects currently being done by MSUM undergraduates will be described, including advice on how to get involved. Current research projects include measuring the timing of exoplanet transits (i.e. looking at other solar systems), searches for new variable stars, long-term studies of variable stars, searches for asteroids and measurement of the periods of moons of the gas giants in our solar system.
