New MSUMDragons.com to launch tomorrow
A new renovation of MSUMDragons.com will launch on Wednesday, Aug. 5 and feature a design that was create with the fan’s wants in mind.
“We wanted to make a site that was cutting edge, intuitive to use, and focused on what our fans wanted to see,” said assistant athletics director and website facilitator Jon Wepking. “We looked at where fans visited the most, how they visited us, on what platforms, where did we lose them, and mostly identified trends in our fan’s behaviors. We then scoured the internet to find the best practices from all types of websites to finally get to the new MSUMDragons.com.”
The key features are a top schedule with recent results and upcoming events with a hover feature that allows fans to access any and all media associate with the events. The schedule was the most viewed item on MSUMDragons.com in the past five years.
Also featured is a large video player to showcase the Dragon’s increased video presence over the last few years. Another new feature for the fans is the media wall which is literally laid over a picture of the walls of Nemzek Hall so all Dragon fans whether or not they are on social media or not can still get all the behind the scenes information.
