Affinity Plus Matching $5,000 Donations to Red Cross Nepal Earthquake Relief Efforts
Only days after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake devastated Nepal and its neighbors, the city is mourning the loss of over 4,000 lives. Left with nothing, and attempting to care for more than 6,500 injured, rescue teams and efforts have been activated even in the midst of continuing aftershocks of the strongest earthquake in more than 80 years.
Affinity Plus wants to help, so beginning today through May 30, we will be collecting donations and providing a match of $5,000. So far, we have reached $3,959.30 in donations. We will also be taking donations of Participation Rewards points. If you’d like to donate, simply stop by our branch location at Room 104 CMU or any other Affinity Plus location. Affinity Plus will work with the American Red Cross on how to best get the money to good use as we collect it.
