The finalists for our VP for Finance and Administration position will be interviewing on campus over the next 2 weeks. You are invited to attend the Open Forums for the candidates. The candidate bio’s and Open Forum date and times are listed below.
Jean Hollaar – March 25th 9:30am – 10:30am – CMU 205
Jean Hollaar is the Associate Vice President for Finance & Administration at Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM). She earned her MBA degree from MSUM and she has devoted her career to the University with positions in Human Resources, Payroll, and the Student Union. She has been recognized for her exceptional service and outstanding performance numerous times at both the campus and system levels. She is a FranklinCovey certified facilitator and is passionate about exemplifying and teaching the principles of personal effectiveness and inter-personal leadership.
Brent Winiger – March 27th 10:00am – 11:00am – CMU 205
Brent Winiger is currently the Vice President for Finance and Administration at Rivier University in Nashua, New Hampshire. Brent has extensive experience in Higher Education and Financial Management. In addition to his current position at Rivier University, he has held positions over the last two decades as the Vice President for Financial Affairs at the University of Mary in Bismarck, Finance Director for the City of Newport, Oregon and Budget Director for Boise State University in Idaho. Brent holds a MBA and BA in Accounting from Boise State University. He characterizes his management style as consisting of inclusive decision-making, encouraging respect for everyone and practicing transparent communications.
Werner Golling – April 3rd 10:00am – 11:00am – CMU 205
Werner Golling currently serves as Vice President for Administration and Fiscal Affairs at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. Prior to his arrival at Emporia State University, Golling served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Human Resources for Aldevron, a biotech company headquartered in Fargo, ND. Before that he served in higher education vice president/chief business officer positions at Concordia College, Grand View University, and Evangelical Theological Seminary. A member of Army ROTC while earning his bachelor’s degree in management from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, Golling went on to serve five and a half years on active duty in the US Army followed by eight years in the Minnesota and Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Golling earned his master’s degree in business administration from Boston University.
