Volunteers still needed for Woodlands and High Plains Powwow on Saturday
The Powwow will be held this Saturday, March 28, in the Memorial Auditorium on the Concordia College campus.
The powwow is a collaborative event held annually, sponsored by MSUM, Concordia, M-State, and NDSU.
Volunteers are still needed in the following areas:
Admissions/Greeters: assist elders as needed, greet guests, direct volunteers to info table, sell tickets and stamp hands of guests as needed, greet guests, direct volunteers to info table, s
Parking Attendants: help elders, those with disabilities, vendors, etc. into auditorium, direct traffic to parking spots
Hospitality room: keep hospitality rooms stocked and orderly, assist volunteers as needed
Security: Answer questions, maintain safety and security
Floaters: assist powwow committee as needed, keep areas clean, run errands for vendors, fill-in volunteer roles as needed
Information table: hand out programs, check in volunteers, direct volunteers to where they are needed, answer general questions
Feast: bring meals to elders, vendors, and drum groups (elders first)
Tear down/clean up: clean up and tear down after event
