Minnesota State University Moorhead’s Straw Hat Players Summer Theatre opens its third show of the summer — “Funny Girl,” a PG-13-rated musical with hits like “Don’t Rain on My Parade,” “I’m the Greatest Star,” and “People” – on Tuesday, June 17. The show runs four consecutive nights (June 17-20) in Hansen Theatre in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts.
The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities announced that the Board of Trustees has entered into a second three-year contract with Chancellor Steven Rosenstone. Carol H. Sibley, Library Professor Emerita, was recently honored with the “Life Achievement Award for Service to Minnesota Libraries” by the Northern Lights Library Network, a cooperative representing libraries in west central and northwest Minnesota. Carol retired this past January after 32 years of service to the library and MSUM.
On Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 1-5 p.m., the Moorhead Police Department will be administering training exercises for new officers in West Snarr Hall.
