Discussion on Ferguson situation to be held this afternoon
Thursday, December 4th at 4:00pm in the CMU main lounge, with a combination of efforts from the Black Student Union, the Campus Feminist Organization, the Women’s Center and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, there will be a discussion on the situation in Ferguson Missouri regarding the death of unarmed black teen, Michael Brown Jr., and the no indictment verdict of Officer Darren Wilson. The discussion will also open up to other examples of violence against people of color.
It’s encouraged for anyone who cares about the topic, from any perspective, to come and join in on the discussion. The discussion will be respectful. Anyone who becomes offensive will be asked to leave. Facebook event.
