Faculty, learn more about leading short-term study abroad courses
Faculty: Are you curious about leading a short-term study abroad course for your department, but not sure how to do so? Come to a brown-bag seminar on Thursday, November 20 at noon in LI 124 (Faculty Development Center) to find out.
Short-term study abroad courses give faculty the ability to tailor a course to meet departmental curricular goals, and to provide students with a cost-effective international experience.
Presenters Janet Haak (Director of Study Abroad) and Tim Borchers (CAMC Dean) will cover the whats, hows, whens, and whys of such courses, and faculty who have led such courses will be available as well. Bring your lunch, interest, and questions and we’ll see you on the 20th. Contact Janet (haak@mnstate.edu) with any questions.
