Dr. Camille Brandt presented at the Plains Art Museum on Inclusive Environments
Dr. Camille Brandt presented to administration, teaching faculty, and docents at the Plains Art Museum on October 6th on the topic of Inclusive Environments. Dr. Brandt was invited to speak on characteristics of disability, learning opportunities for individuals and their families, and pathways to inclusiveness in the community. The Plains is currently hosting an exhibit entitled VIVID; this is a two-person show featuring regional artists Seth Chwast from Cleveland, Ohio, and Dietrich Sieling from Minneapolis, Minn.
“United in their strong emphasis on the formal qualities of line, color, and pattern, these young artists also share a stunning inventiveness in subject matter. In addition, Chwast and Sieling share personal histories; they were both diagnosed with autism as children. Their innate artistic talents help them to lead full, creative lives.” – http://plainsart.org
