Application for the Director of Women’s and Gender Studies
Applications are being accepted from faculty for the Director of Women’s and Gender Studies. The Director serves a three-year term and receives 6 credits per year of reassign time. The program is located with the Department of History, Languages, Critical Race and Women’s Studies and offers a BA in Women’s and Gender Studies, a Certificate in Women and Science, and minors in Women’s and Gender Studies and in Women’s Health. The Director of Women’s and Gender Studies is responsible for coordinating the Women’s and Gender Studies program offerings, integrating the program with the university curriculum, teaching Women’s and Gender Studies courses when possible, publicizing and promoting the program, and serving as a general resource and spokesperson for the program.
