The American Indian traditional powwow is a social gathering and celebration of community featuring American Indian drum music and songs, American Indian dance, as well as vendors showing and selling their arts and crafts.
Last year’s powwow featured more than 180 native dancers. In addition, more than 2,500 people visited to observe traditional American Indian dancers and singers and buy items from native vendors.
To make this year’s powwow a success, we need volunteers in the following areas:
Information Table
Parking Attendants
Vendor Support
Admission Greeters
Taco Concessions
Arena Support
Feast Servers
Floaters
Tear down and clean up
