MSUM alum named Fargo teacher of the year

FARGO (KFGO-AM) — A fourth grade teacher at Roosevelt Elementary School is Fargo’s teacher of the year.

Wendy O’Meara was honored during a ceremony at the school. O’Meara’s selection was heavily based on a large number of letters from parents, colleagues and administrators.

O’Meara has taught in the school district since 1989. She attended Fargo Public Schools and Minnesota State University Moorhead. O’Meara earned a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from St. Thomas University in St. Paul.
