Roberts presented papers and participate in workshop
Bruce Roberts, Anthropology and Earth Science, presented a paper at the 74th Annual Society for Applied Anthropology Meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico on March 22nd. His presentation, “Plastic Waste Management in Africa,”nwas part of a session on “International Perspectives on Business and Market Research.” Additionally, Dr. Roberts also participated in the half-day workshop “Orientation to Business Anthropology” as well as tours on Urban Gardening in Albuquerque (sponsored by the University of New Mexico’s Research Service Learning Program) and the Ohkay Owingeh Plaza Restoration Project. The Society for Applied Anthropology (SFAA) was founded in 1941 to promote the investigation of the principles of human behavior and the application of these principles to contemporary issues and problems.
