Meal reimbursement rate change

Meal reimbursement rates for all employee bargaining units have increased effective January 1, 2014. Employees can claim the actual expense up to the maximum allowed under their bargaining unit contract. Be sure to review contracts for employee meal reimbursement eligibility conditions.

Meal reimbursement rates effective January 1, 2014:
Standard Maximum Rate
Breakfast: $9.00
Lunch: $11.00
Dinner: $16.00

Designated Metropolitan Area Maximum Rate*
Breakfast: $11.00
Lunch: $13.00
Dinner: $20.00
