Proposals now being accepted for Minnesota Desire2Learn Ignite Regional User Conference

Proposals are being accepted for the Minnesota Desire2Learn Ignite Regional User Conference 2014, to be held Friday, April 4, 2014 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Sponsored by Desire2Learn and held at the Minneapolis Airport Marriott, in Minneapolis, this user conference is open to all Minnesota State Colleges and Universities faculty and staff and K-12 educators. Users from other states are also welcome.

The conference will showcase many aspects of teaching and learning with technology, but especially focuses on the Desire2Learn (D2L) learning management system and The Quality Matters Program™, a peer review process that supports the design of quality online and blended courses.

Session proposals are being sought from statewide MnSCU and Minnesota K-12 faculty and teachers, as well as staff and administrators, for sessions which fall into one of these four tracks: Program Management, Teaching & Learning, Support & Training, and Technical System Administration. Sessions that focus on D2L and/or the Quality Matters Standards and Process will be given preference.

While priority will be given to Minnesota-based educators, proposals are welcome from practitioners in neighboring states. Call for proposal deadline is Jan. 10, 2014.
