DECA chapter attends Professional Development Conference
Recently Minnesota State University Moorhead’s Collegiate DECA chapter attended a Professional Development Conference in St. Cloud, Minn. The conference was held on Oct. 28 at the Artwood Memorial Center, and featured keynote speakers Kim Velentini and Billy Mclaughlin. Throughout the day students attended workshops and discussion panels centered on achieving personal success. The conference even included a fashion show featuring looks from Men’s Wearhouse and Dress barn.
MSUM’s own chapter president, Gavin Doppler, was a participant in the fashion show as a model for Men’s Wearhouse. Students that were able to attend the conference included; Tony Roetzel, Austin Friesen, Lauren Hooker, Whitney Jensen, Shannon Marie, Gavin Doppler, and Cassie Stangl.
