Attend the New Rivers Press 45th Birthday Bash and Book Launch

New Rivers Press invites you to our 45th Birthday Bash & Book Launch, Nov.7, at The Rourke Art Museum on Main in Moorhead.

2013 is New Rivers Press’ 45th year of publishing and 10th year of publishing from our MSUM location. Our Birthday Bash & Book Launch will include meeting the authors of our newest novels and poetry, some light refreshments, and time to mingle and relax to the tunes of Cat Sank Trio.

The doors will open at The Rourke Museum at 6:45 p.m., and you’ll be greeted with acoustic guitar music from Karl Bakkum. At 7:05 we’ll call everyone together for a few announcements followed by readings from our six 2013 authors (see information below). We’ll also be recognizing graphic designers and interns who have worked through our Certificate in Publishing to make our books of the last ten years.

We hope you’ll join us for this free and open-to-the-public event!

You can find out more about our events by visiting our office (Weld 108) or by taking a look at our Facebook page. For more details, contact Suzzanne Kelley at kelleysu@mnstate.edu.
