Web Upgrade June 18th
Information Technology will be doing a system upgrade to Ektron CMS (www.mnstate.edu). The work will begin on Tuesday, June 18th at 5:00 AM. The upgrade is expected to be completed by 12:00 PM.
What will be the effects or impact to me, as a content editor, or an end user of the web site?
- End users and customers should not see any difference. We have been testing and planning to help minimize or eliminate any noticeable downtime for end users.
- If you are a web content editor in Ektron CMS, you will experience a downtime and will not be able to make any content changes within the system from Tuesday, June 18th at 12:00 AM until Tuesday, June 18th at 12:00 PM. This is considered a content freeze.
