Dr. Kenyon Williams to present Faculty Percussion Recital Sept. 26
Dr. Kenyon Williams will present a Faculty Percussion Recital in Glasrud Auditorium, Weld Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m. The event will feature two world premiere works commissioned by Williams: “Duo for Saxophone and Percussion” by local saxophonist/composer Russell Peterson and Cincinnati, OH based composer Carrie Magin’s “Capriccio for Violin and Marimba,” which will be performed with Ben Sung, Principle Violinist with the Fargo Moorhead Symphony.
The event will also feature guest artists Thom Christianson, Andrew Clemenson, Elise Buffat Nelson, David Ferreira, Monte Grise, Jenny Dufault, and Leigh Wakefield. Admission is free.
