Ken Karr selected to review CPIM exam
The American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) selected Ken Karr, Operations Management, to join a committee of seven external subject matter experts throughout the United States to review their Certified Production and Inventory Management Certification (CPIM) exam. The CPIM certification exam is an industry designation for engineers and operations professionals throughout the world. Once a professional receives this certification, continuing educational is required on a yearly basis to maintain it. Karr will be tasked with reviewing the test subject areas including Cost Analysis, Quality Management, and Project Management. Meetings will be held in Chicago starting in January 2012 with completion expected by September 2012.
