Rosalinda Connelley presents research at conference

Rosalinda Connelley, Mathematics and a student in NDSU’s education doctoral program, presented on Oct. 6 her recent group research project titled “Sociotechnical Systems Approach: A Case Analysis of a Blended Doctoral Program” at the 2011 Northern Rocky Mountain Educational Research Association Conference in Jackson, Wyo., with her advisor Elizabeth Erichsen and Christine Okurut-Ibore. This group research project was from her research-based class, EDUC 729: Organization and Administration of Telecommunication Technologies. She conducted a collaborative case study during spring semester 2011 utilizing a sociotechnical systems analytical framework as a means of exploring both the social and technological dynamics of flexible program delivery and to detect the affordances, barriers, and some potential interventions for the improvement of the blended learning environment. In September, she and her group also presented at the NDSU Colloquium on the same topic.
