Mass comm student selected for prestigious photography workshop

Mass communications senior Chris Franz has been selected to attend the prestigious 2011 Eddie Adams Workshop in New York, an intense four-day gathering of top photography professionals and carefully selected students. Fifty students, both undergraduate and graduate, and 50 professionals are selected by portfolio to take part in the workshop. In addition to the Eddie Adams workshop, Chris won the Minnesota Press Photographers’ College Photographer of the Year competition this past spring, the second year in a row, and this past summer he was once again chosen for the Fargo Forum photography internship.
