MSUM percussionist publishes article

MSUM student percussionist and Music Education major Matthew Workman recently had his original article published in the newsletter of the Minnesota Chapter of the Percussive Arts Society. His article, entitled “Why Perform?,” details and justifies his own efforts as a student at MSUM to push himself to perform as much as possible and encourages other student members of the Society to do so, as well. The article is published in the April 2011 edition of the newsletter and is read by student and professional percussionists across the state.
