MTFM concludes [TITLE OF SHOW] run this week
Music Theatre Fargo-Moorhead (MTFM) concludes its fifth season with the regional premiere of [TITLE OF SHOW] by Jeff Bowen and Hunter Bell. MTFM’s production of this recent Off-Broadway and Broadway sensation will perform March 10, 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m. and March 13 at 2 p.m. at the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre.
[TITLE OF SHOW] is the hilarious and bittersweet tale of two struggling writers named Jeff and Hunter who race to write and submit a show to a theatre festival – with the deadline just weeks away. In the span of 90 minutes Hunter, Jeff and their friends write and perform their show at the festival and learn lessons about themselves as people, friends and artists. Chronicling the backstage story of its own creation, [TITLE OF SHOW] is, above all, an original love letter to the musical theatre—a uniquely American art form—and to the joy of collaboration.
MTFM’s cast of [TITLE OF SHOW] features MSUM professor Craig A. Ellingson, Kathy Hanson, Adam Pankow, and Carolyn Schmitz. Julie Adams provides musical direction and accompanies.
