Please request your spring D2L and Moodle courses now

Please remember to request your D2L or Moodle courses now to ensure a smooth beginning for spring semester. If you already submitted your requests, please double-check your submissions at http://collaborate.mnstate.edu/coursecreator to be sure that you’ve requested them correctly.

Please follow the steps below to request your D2L or Moodle courses for the Spring 2011 Semester. Remember that ALL faculty need to follow the steps below if they plan to use Desire2Learn or Moodle for their Spring 2011 courses. Please remember to allow UP TO 5 business DAYS for your course to be created.

ALL USERS: You can now use your DragonNet credentials (your mnstate email username and mnstate email password) to use the Course Creator service.

HOW TO REQUEST YOUR COURSES for Spring 2011:

1. Go to http://collaborate.mnstate.edu/coursecreator

2. Enter your mnstate email username and mnstate email password.

3. Select the Semester from the dropdown list (Spring 2011)

4. Click LIST COURSES for this semester

5. The left area lists your courses for this semester. If you want a separate course for each, check the box next to one of your courses and choose “Add D2L” or “Add Moodle”.  Repeat this for each course.

If you have 400/500 level courses, select BOTH checkboxes and then click “Add D2L” or “Add Moodle” to map those two into a single course. If you have two or more sections of a course that you’d like to combine together into a single course, select the checkboxes next to all of the sections to combine and then click “Add D2L” or “Add Moodle.”

6. BE SURE TO CLICK SUBMIT to submit your request.
