The MSU Moorhead Combined Charities Campaign goal was set at $63,000 for 2010-2011. To date, MSUM faculty and staff have donated 51% of the goal with a total of $32,283. Oscar Flores named president-elect of economics association

Oscar Flores, Economics, has been named President-elect of the Missouri Valley Economics Association. The MVEA was established in 1963 and boasts members from all 50 states and many foreign countries. Noontime Gamelan naming ceremony

The MSUM Percussion Studio, directed by Dr. Kenyon Williams, will host a traditional Javanese slametan/gamelan naming ceremony Friday, Nov. 5 at noon in the MSUM Center for the Arts Art Gallery.
