Library displays 1970s books

The Livingston Lord Library is continuing its 50th year celebration by displaying books of the 1970s. In the Circulation Lobby is a selection of bestsellers, including All the President’s Men by Bernstein and Woodward, The Ascent of Man by J. Bronowski, Roots by Alex Haley, and Love Story by Erich Segal. On second floor notable children’s books of the 1970s are displayed, including Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret by Judy Blume, Go Ask Alice, Julie of the Wolves by Jean Craighead George, and Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein. 1970s books will be on display through November.
