Library celebrates 50 years; best-sellers on display
As part of the Library’s 50th anniversary celebration, there will be a revolving display of best-sellers for each decade from 1960-2010 throughout the academic year. This display is located in the Circulation area on first floor. The 1960s decade is now featured, which includes such titles as Games People Play by Eric Berne, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, and Valley of the Dolls by Jacqueline Susann.
In addition, the Curriculum Materials Center located on the second floor of the Library, is featuring notable children’s books for the same time periods. Currently on display are books from the 1960s including The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak, and A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle.
