F-M First Nation’s Journey: Walking with our Youth Sept. 18
A wellness seminar with a focus on Native American issues will take place Saturday, Sept 18 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the MSUM Comstock Memorial Union. Admission and parking are free.
The event, F-M First Nation’s Journey: Walking with our Youth, will provide tools for families and educators to help the success of our youth. The one-day seminar will focus on students and families, with sessions on leadership, domestic violence, substance abuse, suicide, racism and more. Topics will relate to Native American culture and values, along with education and information that can help families and educators.
