Forum editorial: Justified optimism at MSUM
Given Minnesota’s higher education woes, it would be understandable if the emotional climate at Minnesota State University Moorhead were bleak. But it’s not, in large part because of the focused, responsive and open leadership of President Edna Szymanski and her administrative team. In an era of budget-cutting bad news, the latest good news for MSUM is that enrollment projections are up and fundraising last year set a record.
