Every year students begin the process of becoming a student organization. However, one requirement of becoming a recognized student organization is having a MSUM faculty or staff advisor. Sometimes it is difficult for students to find a faculty or staff member who is willing to make that commitment. Click link to read more.

Umoja 2009-10 Kick off Sept. 17

All Dragons are invited to the Umoja 2009-10 kick-off event Sept. 17 at 6 p.m. in the CMU ballroom. The event will include: 1) Information regarding Umoja’s Mission and Activities; 2) Internship Opportunities for Centro Cultural; 3) Guest Speaker Dr. David Bailey MD, Surgeon Meritcare Health Systems; 4) How to become a member and meet current Members; and 5) Free Food.
