The Human Resources Office has received employee-discounted tickets for the 2009 Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Adult tickets are $15.50 (Reg. $19.95) and Children tickets (age 5-12) are $7.50 (Reg. $10.95). Children Age 4 & under are free. Robert Thorwaldsen, MSUM Building Services Manager (retired 1989), passed away September 27, 2009, at age 88 at the Lincoln Park Assisted Living, Detroit Lakes. Private Family Graveside Services will be held later in October at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Detroit Lakes. West-Kjos Funeral Home, Detroit Lakes, has been entrusted with the services.
