Leslie Knudson has been hired as the new Web Communications Strategist in the Marketing department at MSUM and will report to Pat Staples, Director of Marketing. Knudson was brought on board to help build a stronger web presence and brand identity for the University as well as contribute to marketing efforts. Her primary focus will be developing the content strategy for the University’s new website scheduled to launch in Fall 2010.
Previously, Knudson served as Senior Writer for an international publishing company in New York City where she wrote for five national industry publications. She also worked for Microsoft Dynamics (formerly Microsoft Business Solutions), based in Fargo, ND, where she wrote and managed content for their customer and partner global websites. She received her bachelor’s degree in English/Mass Communications from MSUM in 2002 and her Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from MSUM in 2005.
