McCleary funeral Dec. 20
Funeral services for Krista McCleary, the MSUM junior killed in a car accident Tuesday afternoon, will be held on Sunday, December 20 at 2 pm at the First United Methodist Church in Fargo. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 19 at Hanson/Runsvold Funeral Home from 4-6 pm with a prayer service at 6 pm.
‘She had the biggest heart’
Those who knew Krista McCleary are grappling with the tangle of heartbreaking ironies.
A year ago, she became by far the youngest member of her Fargo church to sing up for intensive training so she could offer one-on-one comfort to those beset by loss.
She was a cautious driver who put off getting her license until she was out of her teens and felt confident enough behind the wheel.
On Tuesday, she was headed to her last final exam of the semester at Minnesota State University Moorhead, thrilled about the time with her close-knit family awaiting her.
