Kenyon Williams performs as featured soloist/arranger this Holiday Season

Dr. Kenyon Williams, Associate Professor of Percussion, will be participating in two outstanding holiday events as a featured performer and composer this Christmas season.  As Principle Percussionist with the Fargo Moorhead Symphony, he will be performing as a featured xylophone soloist for the “Holiday Pops” Christmas Concert at the Fargo Theatre on Thurs. Dec. 17th and Sat. Dec. 19th.

He will also be performing with the Bethel Evangelical Free Church’s production of “Christmas in the Red,” an all-original musical written by MSUM adjunct Communications faculty member Ginger Williams and featuring MSUM vocal performance major Ian Laluhm and theatre arts major James Stinsman as lead performers on Thursday Dec. 10th through Saturday Dec. 12th at Bethel Church.

Aside from performing in the orchestra, Dr. Williams also helped to arrange and orchestrate several of the original musical selections within the production.

Tickets for “Christmas in the Red” are available at Hornbacher’s, the Rainbow Shop, Family Christian Store, and a portion of all ticket sales go to the New Life Homeless Shelter.
