Trenz named interim HR director at MSUM

Herb Trenz has been appointed interim director of Human Resources at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Trenz has more than 30 years of experience in human resources, including 17 years as the director of Human Resources for the College of St. Benedict, St. John’s University and the Order of St. Benedict.

Trenz is the chair and a founding board member of the Midwest Region Board of Directors for the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources.  He also serves as a member of the National Advisory Council for TIAA-CREF.

Trens earned his baccalaureate degree in management from Westmar College in Le Mars, Iowa, and an MBA in management from MSU Mankato.
